Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree in Human Services field preferred; Associates degree in secretarial or business major or High School graduate in commercial course with two years of secretarial and clerical experience or equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience.
- Must be able to type accurately and operate other business machines.
- A working knowledge of computer software, Windows, and Microsoft Office Applications.
- Must be able to transcribe both handwriting and dictation accurately and with reasonable speed for a variety of correspondence, reports and other materials within a timely manner.
- Knowledge of methods and techniques used in record keeping systems and in organization of information.
- Must have considerable knowledge of business English, spelling and punctuation.
- Must be able to meet and deal effectively with associates and the general public both in person and by telephone.
- Must be able to work cooperatively with other office personnel; be pleasant and hospitable to visitors.
- Must be able to work independently on difficult or complex clerical tasks.
- Must eligible for Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances.
- Must be able to identify with the agency Mission Statement and support the agency’s Core Values.
