Volunteer Expectations

You will be treated with courtesy and respect. We value your services.

You will have the assistance of the Community Relations Coordinator in scheduling and coordinating your activities.

You will be given an orientation to Glade Run Lutheran Services, its organization and its programs.

You are encouraged to provide feedback to the Community Relations Coordinator about your volunteer experience.

You are asked to fill out a time sheet recording your volunteer hours and turn those time sheets in to the Community Relations Coordinator on a monthly basis.

You are asked to schedule your hours by the month if possible, and to give 24 hours notice if canceling services to a program.

You are asked to be punctual.

You are asked to share your time with the clients using patience, courtesy and consideration.

You are required to comply with the policies which pertain to our employees, specifically those regarding Ethics (Policy 105A) and Confidentiality (Procedure C-3).
