Family Preservation Services

The Family Preservation program is deployed to families in which the children have been, or are at risk of being the victims of neglect or abuse.  The program employs intensive in-home counseling and support services, linking families to appropriate community resources to reduce the risk of out-of-home placement of children.

Activities prescribed include:

• Finding and moving families to suitable housing;
• Teaching and assisting families in cleaning their homes and planning nutritional meals;
• Arranging and providing transportation for medical and counseling appointments;
• Networking with agencies and service providers to assist the families with their individual needs;
• Providing advocacy services for children in need of positive reinforcement and good role models.

Available in Beaver and Butler Counties.
