Residential

Most of our Residential Programs are located in Zelienople, just 30 miles north of Pittsburgh.  Residential Programs serve children ages 6 to 18. These include:

Community Services

Glade Run Provides in-community services, reaching out to communities it serves through an array of programming designed to stabilize individuals in need, provide therapeutic interventions, and promote healing and self-growth to give individuals hope for the future. These services include:

Foster Care

Glade Run provides foster care services to children from birth to 18 years of age.  The children needing foster care have been separated from their parents or guardians who were unable or unwilling to properly care for them.  The goal of the foster care program is to achieve reunification with their family whenever possible. 

Autism Services

Our Autism Services provide an integrated approach that merges highly specialized life-skills instruction with mental health,behavioral health and education. We offer community based and educational Autism services that are highly specialized and tailored to each individual and family’s treatment needs.

School Based Behavioral Health Services

Our purpose is to reduce barriers to learning by partnering with schools to provide in-school behavioral health services. We promote a community of care through an integrated and early intervention approach to meet the educational, social and emotional needs of children and their families.

Religious Services

At Glade Run Lutheran Services, all those entrusted to our care are received in Christ's name.  Because those who come to Glade Run Lutheran Services have varying religious backgrounds, we tailor our interventions to the individual's beliefs, background and experience.  Our individualized approach considers where each child of God is on his or her spiritual journey.

Educational Services

Educational Services at Glade Run Lutheran Services are offered through St. Stephen's Lutheran Academy, a licensed private academic school located on our campus in Zelienople, Pennsylvania.

Public schools collaborate with St. Stephen's to provide placement for students who require more individualized attention to succeed academically and behaviorally.  These students have emotional and behavioral issues that benefit from more intensive therapeutic programming.

Glade Run Adventures

Glade Run Adventures is located on the 325 acre campus of Glade Run Lutheran Services located in Zelienople, PA.  Through equine, horticulture and outdoor enrichment programs, Glade Run Adventures offers a variety of experiential opportunities including environment outreach programs, outdoor recreational programs, teambuilding opportunities, and guided off-site programs.  Our goal is to provide the consumer with a unique, holistic and enriching experience by tailoring our program to meet the needs of the individual or group.

By demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission's national standards for health care quality and safety, Glade Run Lutheran Services has earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval™. Founded in 1951, The Joint Commission is dedicated to continuously improving the safety and quality of the nation's health care through voluntary accreditation. In becoming accredited, Glade Run Lutheran Services was evaluated against a set of national standards. Achieving accreditation demonstrates Glade Run's commitment to provide safe and high quality care.
