Respite Care

Glade Run’s Respite Care provides short-term, temporary relief to those who are caring for family members
who have mental, behavioral and psychological issues and who may be at risk for out-of-home placement.
During this therapeutic separation we can offer supportive services to stabilize the family environment.

Crisis Respite:

• For boys ages 10-18 adjudicated and non-adjudicated who may have emotional, behavioral or psychological distress.
• 72-hour safe place placement to avert or stabilize a child dealing with an individual or family crisis.
• Exclusionary criteria is not actively psychotic, suicidal, homicidal or under the infl uence of drugs or alcohol.

Planned Respite:

• For boys ages 10-18 adjudicated and non-adjudicated who may have emotional, behavioral or psychological distress.
• 72- hour safe placement , pre-planned admission between Glade Run and the childs family in order to prevent a child or famiy crisis.
• Exclusionary criteria is not actively psychotic, suicidal, homicidal or under the infl uence of drugs or alcohol.
