Residential Treatment Facility (RTF)

The RTF is a psychiatric residential treatment program for children and adolescents ages 6 to 18 with a mental health diagnosis.  Located on the main campus in Zelienople, the RTF serves individuals able to live safely outside the restrictiveness of an inpatient hospital setting, yet unable to reside in a less restrictive setting such as with their family, in foster care or a group home.

Each unit is staffed 24 hours a day.  The unit routine is structured to simulate a family environment.  A team of mental health professionals is responsible for managing the therapeutic environment and providing therapeutic interventions such as individual, group and family therapy.  Education is an important part of the day and is provided either in public school or at St. Stephen's Lutheran Academy located in Glade Run's campus.
